Introduction to Leadership

This is an introductory one day program that helps participants successfully transition from individual contributor to a first line supervisor/Team Leader.

This program aims to build a level of self-awareness around individual leadership behaviours and the subsequent impact on individual contributors that are part of a team. 

The program also focuses on basic communication techniques and skills introduces participants to skills around planning and assigning tasks and a consultative approach to solving workplace problems.

This program focuses on:

• Understanding the legal and ethical responsibilities of being a Team Leader
• Building an increased level of self-awareness around leadership behaviours
• Improvement in communication skills
• Understand how to apply consultation processes in the workplace to solve Challenges
